GitLoom replaces the GitHub Slack app with a single quiet daily digest, on the observation that almost every engineering team eventually mutes the GitHub channel and then stops noticing the things that actually matter. The vendor's own side-by-side is the pitch: forty-seven messages from the official app in a day against one message from GitLoom covering the same events. That message is written in plain English and only surfaces states that need a human — pull requests waiting on a first review, approved but never merged, carrying a merge conflict, failing CI, or simply forgotten. Quiet-by-design rules do the heavy lifting: an unchanged stuck PR is re-reminded every three days rather than every morning, WIP and blocked labels are respected, bot reviews do not count as reviews, and PR state is re-fetched from GitHub at send time so an alert never references something that merged an hour ago. Live PR cards update in place through review, CI and merge instead of posting a new message per event. Weekly digests summarize what shipped, release notes are generated from version tags or continuous delivery, and per-report custom instructions let you tell the AI to reference your Linear ticket IDs or follow your house style. Delivery goes to Slack, email or Telegram. Setup is installing the GitHub App and connecting a channel — no YAML, and every report can be test-sent first.
