Do I have to pay to be listed?
No. The free listing is a real listing — same tool page, same permanent dofollow backlink, no card and no subscription. What the one paid tier buys is the AI-visibility scan on your own tool, plus the Verified badge — never the link.
What does the $79 Verified tier actually add?
Two things the free listing cannot include. First, the full 12-point AI-visibility scan — the same one sold on its own at $9 — run against your tool as soon as you pay, with the per-prompt report emailed to you: which prompts named you, which named a competitor instead, and the wording the model used. It costs us real money per run, so it can never be given to every listing. Second, the 🛡️ Verified badge on your tool page and beside your name in the browse, category and newest-tool grids. It also skips hand review, so the page publishes within minutes of payment. One-time payment, nothing recurring.
How long does the free queue take?
A median of under an hour — 298 of the last 342 submissions were decided within 24 hours, so a bit more than half publish the same day and a few wait longer. 3 tools are waiting on hand review right now. Both numbers are read live from our own queue at page load, so you can check them rather than take our word for it.
You used to have a $39 tier. What happened to it?
We retired it on 2026-08-19. It sold skipping the review queue, and our own records showed most hand review already clearing inside 24 hours — so it was charging for a wait that mostly wasn't happening. Rather than keep the price and manufacture a backlog to justify it, we removed the tier.
Is a listing the same thing as a featured placement?
No. A listing is your own tool page. Featured placement puts you at the top of a category and above competitors in the browse listings — that is the sponsorship product, priced from $19/mo on the advertise page.
What is AI-visibility monitoring?
A separate product. It scores how often ChatGPT recommends your tool when someone asks for the best tools in your category, and — on the paid tiers — tells you which prompts named you, which named your competitors instead, and whether the number moves month to month.
Can I buy a listing and monitoring together?
They are bought separately today: listings from the submit form, monitoring from your free scan result. Neither is a subscription requirement for the other.
