Rest Faker generates a complete mock REST API with realistic fake data in about thirty seconds, so front-end work is never blocked waiting on a backend. You define a schema in a visual builder using more than 200 Faker.js field types — full name, email, job title, company, phone, city, country, product, price, avatar URL, UUID and the rest — or import an existing OpenAPI or Swagger spec and skip straight to a live endpoint. It generates up to 100 realistic records per route, regenerable on demand, and serves full CRUD: GET, the HTTP QUERY method, POST, PATCH and DELETE, with field filtering, sorting and pagination out of the box. A scenario engine simulates latency, errors and rate limiting so you can exercise failure paths rather than only happy paths, and mock authentication is available on paid tiers. Output exports as a Postman collection or as TypeScript types, and request logging lets you inspect the traffic your front end actually sends. There is an MCP server so Claude and other agents can drive it directly, and a public preview endpoint that works with a plain curl call and no account at all. When a monthly request quota is exhausted the endpoints return 402 until reset; projects and schemas are never deleted.
