OpenChamber is an agentic development environment that lets you start from context rather than from an empty editor — open a repository, an issue, or a pull request and begin with the work already in view. It runs on the OpenCode SDK, chosen by the maintainers as the best open-source agent experience available, and the environment moves with you across desktop apps for macOS, Windows, and Linux; a browser and PWA surface; a native mobile app in beta; and VS Code, without losing the thread of a session. The desktop side supports multi-window project workflows, Open In shortcuts to Finder, Terminal, and your editor, and Project Actions for dev servers, SSH forwarding, and local URLs. Remote work is a first-class path rather than an afterthought: openchamber serve exposes a local daemon and optionally a Cloudflare tunnel, connect-url generates a relay pairing link with a verifiable fingerprint, and a UI password gate makes browser access safe to expose publicly, with tunnel links rotatable or revocable and background notifications plus cross-tab session activity keeping long runs visible. In the editor surface you can open files directly from tool output, use right-click context actions on selections and files, and run parallel multi-model agents through an Agent Manager. Review and shipping close the loop — follow the diff, check the output, then commit or open a pull request. Privacy is explicit: project names, paths, prompts, code, diffs, and session content are not collected, and because the project is open source the privacy model is inspectable in code rather than asserted in a policy. It ships in ten languages, is free, and is independent of the OpenCode team.
