MagicChat builds a support and onboarding agent from your existing content and embeds it on your site so questions asked outside business hours still get answered. You point it at a website, upload files, paste raw text or add a YouTube channel, and it indexes those sources into a bot you can embed as a widget. The positioning is deliberately narrow and commercial rather than conversational: the pitch is that signups stall and deals die when a 1am question about setup, refunds or which plan to buy goes unanswered, so the agent is aimed at onboarding, presales and support gap coverage rather than at open-ended chat. The dashboard tracks questions per day, recent activity by source, and which pages were indexed, and the site publishes its own usage numbers — chatbots created, active users, questions answered and sources indexed — with an explicit note that these are real product figures rather than marketing ones. For developers there is a command-line client installable from npm that can log in with a one-time password, list bots, add sources and ask questions from the terminal, plus API access and rate limiting on paid tiers. Higher plans add automatic re-crawling on a monthly, weekly or daily cadence, webhook support, multi-platform integrations and team seats, and enterprise adds HIPAA eligibility with signed DPA and BAA.
