About Legnext

Legnext is a Midjourney API platform that removes the two things that historically made Midjourney impractical to build on: the Discord dependency and the requirement that every user hold their own account. It exposes text-to-image, image editing, HD output and AI video through a plain REST interface with a task lifecycle you poll, covering models V8.2, V8.1, V7 and Niji, and supporting the full command surface — variations, upscales, inpaint, remix, zoom, pan, style transfer, background removal, outpaint, enhance, blend, describe and shorten — plus image-to-video at 480p and 720p with video extension and upscaling. Two billing paths exist side by side. Pay-as-you-go buys credits at a flat rate with no subscription, with each task type consuming a published point count that differs between Fast and Turbo modes, so the cost of any given operation is knowable before you call it. Alternatively, BYOK lets you bind your own Midjourney subscription and run fast-mode image tasks against it, consuming zero platform credits, while video and editing tools stay pay-as-you-go — and the binding can be removed at any time. For integration, Legnext publishes an installable agent skill (npx skills add legnext-ai/skills) and a documentation MCP endpoint, so Claude Code, Codex or Cursor can be handed the task lifecycle, retry rules and storage guidance rather than inferring them.
