About JsonTranslate

JsonTranslate is a localisation workspace for i18n files rather than a text box that happens to accept JSON. It takes JSON, Markdown and TXT by upload, drag or paste, preserves keys and nested paths exactly, and handles the four modes real localisation work actually needs: file-level incremental, full-file, project-level incremental and full-project translation. The incremental modes use Git-diff-style change detection so only added or edited strings are sent, which is what keeps cost and review burden proportional to a release rather than to the size of the locale file. Projects are first-class: source files, target files and directory conventions are managed together, with path mapping that generates the right locale files automatically for common layouts (locale folders, module folders, locale suffixes), plus project import/export delivering a zip with the directory structure intact. Coverage is 20+ common languages including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German and Spanish, extending to 100+ for long-tail markets. Teams can run on the hosted workflow or bring their own model key, which matters for organisations with an existing provider contract or a cost strategy of their own. There is a responsive web studio with source and multi-locale result panes side by side, a task centre for project-level jobs, and a CLI for pipeline integration.
