Fabricate is a prompt-to-application builder that generates a full-stack app rather than a front end. The distinction it leads with is the three pieces a generated prototype usually lacks: a database, authentication and payments are wired in from the first generation, so the output is something that can take a signup and a charge rather than a static mock that still needs a backend bolted on afterwards. Work happens in a web-based IDE with live preview, and deployment is a single click. The example prompts on the homepage are a fair sample of the intended scope — an app that turns meeting notes into action items, a habit tracker with streaks and a paid tier, a personal CRM that nudges follow-ups, a tool that converts voice memos into blog posts — small complete products rather than enterprise systems. The paid tiers are where it stops being a walled garden: code can be downloaded and exported, projects can be pushed to and synced with GitHub, and projects can be made private with a custom domain, which means a project started in Fabricate is not trapped there. Metering is by generation credits that reset monthly, with a free tier that includes a monthly credit allowance and one published project, no credit card required.
