BestChat is a live chat and AI agent platform aimed at ecommerce storefronts, combining human agent seats with an AI product called SmartBot. Its positioning is sales engagement rather than pure ticket deflection: the bot is trained on the store's product catalogue, so the number of products it can learn is a metered dimension of every plan alongside the number of AI chats, and it answers pre-purchase questions with catalogue awareness instead of routing them to a queue. Integration is native to the platforms small merchants actually run on — Shopify, Wix and WordPress — which means installation does not require developer work. The feature set spans AI Insights, an AI help-me-write assistant for agents composing replies, an AI knowledge base built from custom entries, and AI learning over the product catalogue. Mobile and desktop apps are provided for agents. The interface is localised into eight languages including German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and both simplified and traditional Chinese, which reflects a cross-border ecommerce customer base. Plans scale along four metered dimensions simultaneously: AI chats per month, products the bot can learn, AI knowledge entries, and agent seats, with branding removal appearing on the middle tiers. The top tier is differentiated by an independent data model tuned by data scientists on dedicated high-performance GPU capacity rather than only by higher limits.
