Windframe is a visual builder for Tailwind CSS interfaces that exports production code rather than locking designs inside the editor. A project starts one of three ways: from an AI prompt that generates a complete page layout, from a library of over 1,000 pre-built Tailwind templates, or by importing an existing Tailwind site, template or component to edit in place. From there a drag-and-drop visual editor gives control over every element with instant preview, backed by pre-styled components carrying sane typography and spacing defaults, and every design is responsive by default across desktop, tablet and mobile. The export step is what makes it a developer tool: output is clean semantic Tailwind markup for React, Vue, Angular, Svelte and HTML — 8+ frameworks in total — with unlimited code exports on every paid tier, so the builder can be used purely as a scaffolding step ahead of hand-editing. The product ships an MCP server, letting AI coding agents work against the builder directly, and recently added an Apple-design-taste mode aimed at agents generating UI. Version history, saved projects and priority support sit on the paid plans. The vendor cites over 15,000 developers. Pricing is structured to reward longer commitments heavily: the annual plan carries 9.6× the AI credits of twelve monthly payments, and a pay-once perpetual option is advertised.
