TrainEngine.ai lets anyone fine-tune their own image models — Dreambooth and Stable Diffusion XL — without local GPU hardware, then generate from them, chain models together and download the weights. It is one of the few tools in the space that treats the trained model as an asset the user owns rather than as something locked inside the platform: SD 1.5 models come back as .CKPT files and SDXL models as LoRA files, both formats supported by most popular local UIs, so a model trained here can be taken elsewhere. The public model gallery is the platform's most useful feature for anyone deciding whether to bother, since it shows real community-trained models alongside their generation counts, from character and style models into the tens of thousands of images. Models can be trained public or private, with private training costing more tokens and keeping both the model and every generation inside the owner's account. The pricing is pure pay-as-you-go with no subscription anywhere in the ladder, and tokens do not expire — the vendor states outright that tokens are available to use forever. Ten free tokens are granted on signup, which is exactly enough to train one public model, and generating unlimited public images is free on the Trainer tier.
