TheSecureNote is an encrypted notepad that works without an account. You pick any available URL under thesecurenote.com, start typing, and set a password when you save; the note is encrypted in the browser with AES-256-GCM and PBKDF2 key derivation before anything is transmitted, so the server stores ciphertext and the vendor states it cannot read the contents. That zero-knowledge property is the entire product and the design follows from it — no signup, no email address, no tracking, no ads. The practical consequence is that the barrier to actually using encryption for a scratch note drops to nothing, which is the reason most people do not encrypt the notes that would matter: passwords, API keys, half-formed ideas, anything you would not want in a synced plaintext notes app. Notes are organised into sections rather than files, with the free tier allowing one section and unlimited notes within it, and they are reachable from any device because the encrypted blob lives in the cloud rather than on one machine. Hosting runs on Cloudflare's global edge for fast loads worldwide. The paid tiers do not unlock encryption or capacity so much as identity: a memorable branded URL, unlimited sections, encrypted note sharing and early access to new features. The interface is localised into English, Hindi and Spanish, and a separate offering for businesses is published.
