ScreenshotEngine is a website capture API that leads with agent readiness rather than treating it as a footnote — it ships an MCP surface alongside the REST endpoints, so an assistant or an autonomous workflow can request a capture as a tool call instead of needing a bespoke integration written for it. The output set is broader than the category norm: a still image in JPEG, PNG or WebP, a PDF export of the page, or a scrolling video of the page rendered top to bottom, which is a genuinely useful artefact for documentation, changelogs and design review that most competitors do not produce at all.
