Prompt Sloth is a browser extension that adds a one-click improve button inside the AI tools you already use, rewriting a rough one-liner into a structured prompt without switching tabs. It works in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and more than twenty other AI interfaces, and the rewrite is constrained rather than creative: it preserves your intent and your stated facts and adds what is missing — role, context, constraints and output format. The second half of the product is a template shortcut system: typing a double slash opens a library of over two thousand prompt templates for common professional tasks (proposals, follow-ups, briefs, reports), and you can save your own with your scope language and client terminology, synced across devices. There is a desktop app in early access alongside the extension. The marketing is unusually willing to cite sources for its premise, referencing Sclar et al. (ICLR 2024) on prompt-format sensitivity and Kojima et al. (NeurIPS 2022) on reasoning-sentence gains, rather than asserting the benefit.
