About MockHero
MockHero generates realistic synthetic test data from one API call, and it is built for AI coding agents as much as for humans — an MCP server shipped from day one, so Claude, Cursor, Copilot and Codex can call it natively to seed a database mid-task. Input is either a structured schema or a plain-English description, which the service converts to a schema itself. What separates it from the faker libraries it replaces is correctness at the data-model level rather than the field level. Multiple tables are generated with real foreign-key relationships, created in dependency order via topological sort, so every reference points at a record that exists and there are no orphan rows. Locale is auto-detected per row from a country field, so a table of contacts returns German names with web.de addresses and +49 numbers alongside Japanese names with yahoo.co.jp addresses, across 22 locales. The 156 field types run from UUIDs and emails to Luhn-valid credit-card numbers, bcrypt hashes and EAN-13 barcodes — formats that validate rather than merely look right. Output is JSON by default with CSV and SQL INSERT statements (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite dialects) on paid tiers. Generation is quoted at around 50ms, and free tools include a schema detector, data-type explorer and volume calculator.
