About Buildy
Buildy solves a specific failure of chat-based app generation: the app dies with the conversation. When your agent builds something on Buildy, it stays live at its own URL after the chat ends, and you keep using and updating it. The flow is that you add Buildy to whatever AI chat you already use — the site lists ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, OpenClaw and Goose — ask for an app, and get back a running URL such as app.buildy.so/you/workout-tracker. From then on the app is dual-headed: you can open it directly on your phone and add an entry through its own interface, or you can tell your agent in chat and it writes to the same app. The worked example on the homepage shows a run log where saying today's run, 3.2 miles in chat and tapping Add entry in the app produce one identical record, and the agent can then answer questions about the stored data. Because the agent that builds it already holds your context, the app arrives with your details filled in rather than as an empty template. The technical surface is documented openly — a REST API with an OpenAPI spec, per-route rate limits and token TTLs, an anonymous app token model and a device-pairing recovery flow — and the pricing page is itself published as machine-readable markdown citing the source files behind every number.
