LobsterMail gives an autonomous agent its own email address in one line of code, with no API key, no human signup step and no exposure of the operator's personal mailbox. The problem it solves is narrow and increasingly common: an agent working through a task hits a signup form, needs a verification email, and has nowhere to receive it — so the run stalls or the developer hands over their own inbox and inherits the resulting spam and security surface. LobsterMail issues an inbox on demand that the agent can create, read and send from itself. The vendor documents the workflows it is built for: competitive intelligence agents subscribing to rival newsletters and extracting pricing and feature changes; inbound lead qualification agents responding within thirty seconds and routing hot leads; and PR and directory submission agents that handle every verification email in a submission flow autonomously. Custom domains on paid plans mean the agent's address can sit on the operator's own domain rather than a shared one, which matters for anything customer-facing.
