About FormSubmit

FormSubmit is a form backend for static sites with an unusual primary user: the coding agent. Every operation is a single shell command through a CLI that emits stable JSON on stdout, logs on stderr and meaningful exit codes, which is precisely the contract an agent needs and precisely what a dashboard-first competitor cannot offer. Login is a browser device-code flow rather than an API key paste, so there is no secret for a model to mishandle. The published agent recipe is honest about the whole loop — check auth, check credit balance, abort with a helpful hint if it is zero, create the form, capture the endpoint, generate the HTML snippet and drop it into the user's site — and it works inside Claude Code, Cursor, Bolt, v0 and Replit, anything that can run a shell command. Discovery files at /llms.txt and /.well-known/formsubmit.json exist so vibecoding tools can surface it without the user doing anything. Humans get the same endpoint through a dashboard, so a form an agent created is one a non-technical teammate can administer. Billing is one credit per clean submission, with spam explicitly not charged and credits that never expire — a model that matters when the alternative products meter by month on a form that may receive nothing for weeks.
