CostLogic is browser-based construction estimating that carries a single set of measurements from takeoff through to the invoice, which is the pitch every product in this category makes and comparatively few actually deliver. You upload construction PDFs and the software names the pages and reads the drawing scale out of the title block rather than asking you to calibrate by hand. Measurement is then either manual with precision takeoff tools, or automatic: an Auto Room feature detects rooms and areas from the drawing. Measured quantities flow straight into estimate line items with no re-keying, an AI assistant called Onyx will draft the estimate and fill in the arithmetic, and an approved estimate converts into a branded PDF invoice emailed to the client, with the customer record kept on file. That end-to-end path is the reason the product exists — the retyping between a takeoff tool, a spreadsheet and an invoicing app is where estimating shops lose their hours. Blueprint storage is included and generous, running from 100 GB on the entry plan. Pricing is per seat with a 14-day free trial that includes three Auto Room runs, and both AI surfaces are metered: monthly AI credits per seat govern Auto Room, and Onyx has a separate daily request cap. Those two meters are the thing to size before committing, because a busy estimator on the entry plan gets 25 AI credits and 150 Onyx requests a day, and heavy Auto Room use is what pushes a team to the higher tier.
