Codapult is a modular SaaS boilerplate for TypeScript teams that ships as a CLI-assembled set of modules rather than a monolithic template you fork and delete from. The catalogue is 70+ built-in modules and 30+ database tables covering auth, payments, teams and organisations, RBAC, an admin surface, SSO, audit logs, compliance utilities and infrastructure, and the CLI pulls only the modules an MVP actually needs, with the rest available later so the base does not have to be replaced when the product grows from a single-user tool into B2B software. You receive the full source, so the architecture can be changed, providers swapped and the whole thing self-hosted without vendor lock-in. The AI layer is genuinely part of the foundation rather than an afterthought: streaming chat, OpenAI and Anthropic providers, RAG, embeddings and semantic search are wired in, alongside project rules files aimed at AI coding agents working in the repo.
