That inverts the model every major ESP uses, where a list of 50,000 addresses costs the same whether you mail it monthly or never, and it targets two groups the contact-based model punishes hardest — agencies carrying client lists they mail occasionally, and SaaS companies with large dormant user tables. The second half of the pitch is that no feature is gated behind a tier: automations, segmentation, analytics, bounce handling and reputation tooling are available on the free plan and on every pack. Segments filter contacts by behaviour, plan, activity or any custom property, and delivery only goes to matching records. Automations cover onboarding flows, drip sequences, re-engagement and event-triggered sends through a visual flow builder with timers and audience filters. Analytics report delivery, opens, clicks, bounces and subscription trends across hourly, daily, weekly and monthly views with export. Ten ready-made templates cover newsletters, transactional, launch and lifecycle mail. Agencies get isolated client workspaces with separate domains, contacts and reports. Teams already on Amazon SES can bring their own SES account for lower per-send cost, and the site publishes a calculator comparing the pack price against Mailchimp, SendGrid and MailerSend at a given volume.
