Vidmoat is a hosted AI video editor with a real timeline. You type what you want in plain English and the Moat agent does the work — cutting dead air, writing captions, removing filler, and reframing — then leaves a real multi-track timeline you can open and tweak yourself. It is not a prompt-to-video generator: every edit it makes is an editable decision on a timeline, not a black-box render. There are three ways in. The browser editor at vidmoat.com is the main one. The Telegram bot @vidmoat_bot takes a clip with a caption like 'cut the silence and add captions' and returns a finished video in the chat, sharing the same projects and credits as the web editor. MCP is optional: on the Studio plan the editor exposes itself to Claude, Cursor, or your own agent over Model Context Protocol with 65+ timeline commands covering captions, keyframes, and effects, and agents get frame previews back as images so they can check their own work. Auto-Cut handles long footage, watching hours of raw video, finding the usable takes, killing dead air, and stitching a story — with every cut still editable afterward. One edit can be reframed and re-hooked for TikTok, Reels, YouTube, and Shorts, with 33+ effects and filters including green screen.
