Sync My Group keeps user, team and group membership consistent across the tools a company actually runs on, which is the sort of unglamorous plumbing that otherwise gets handled by a fragile internal script and forgotten until someone keeps access they should have lost. It connects Google Groups, Slack user groups and channels, GitHub teams, Jira and Atlassian groups, GitLab groups, Microsoft Azure directory, Opsgenie and Jira Service Management on-call schedules and teams, and PagerDuty on-call and teams, and syncs membership between any source and destination — Slack to Google, Google to Slack, an HR tool into Slack channels, and so on. It creates and deletes groups in the destination to match the source, and adds and removes members accordingly, with filters and exclusions so sensitive groups can be held back from the sync entirely. The feature that makes it safe to adopt is the instant preview: it diffs the two sides, recommends actions, and shows exactly what will happen before anything is applied, so a misconfigured filter is caught in the preview rather than by an engineer who lost repository access. Real-time notifications on additions and removals go to Slack or Teams, with a bot that supports per-team subscriptions. On data handling the company states it stores only email and OAuth tokens.
