Shorz is a desktop video editor, currently Windows-only with macOS in development, that performs the edit rather than giving you a timeline to perform it on. You supply clips, images and audio, describe the edit you want in plain language, and Auto Edit assembles the finished video: it inserts relevant B-roll, images and GIFs against what is being said, writes on-screen titles and readable subtitles, adds auto-zooms on key moments, tracks faces to keep them centred for vertical formats, applies transitions and motion, and lays in matched background music and sound effects. The scope runs from fifteen-second Shorts to feature-length faceless YouTube videos. Around Auto Edit sit several other modes — avatars, script-to-video, podcast clipping and advertisement generation — plus a built-in thumbnail creator and animation studio, so the usual trip out to a separate design tool disappears. Dubbing translates and re-voices into twenty-nine languages from a single toggle, and narration can use your own cloned voice through your ElevenLabs key or an uploaded recording. Publishing and scheduling to eight platforms including YouTube and TikTok happen from inside the app. The tool routes work across current frontier models — GPT 5.6, Claude Opus 5, Gemini Omni Flash, Nano Banana 2, ElevenLabs, Kling v3 and Seedance 2 — and the site notes the product was created by @DonRando.
