About Scoutr

Scoutr is an idea-validation and MVP-scoping tool for founders that ends in a verdict rather than a report. A user describes a project and the agent cross-references Reddit, Hacker News, search demand and competitor revenue data, then returns one of three verdicts — BUILD, VALIDATE or KILL — with a solution-problem fit percentage and the underlying evidence attached, which the vendor contrasts explicitly with an opinion or a score without receipts. Each diagnosed project keeps its verdict, fit score and signals, and multiple projects can be compared side by side to decide which one deserves the next sprint. If the verdict is favourable the product continues into scoping: an agent proposes features from the validated report and sorts them into core, nice-to-have and out-of-scope with a written reason for every call, and the marketing states plainly that its job is stopping scope creep — the user edits, accepts or rejects each proposal. The final step is a handoff file: one click assembles the features, acceptance criteria, project shape, risks to validate and rationale into a structured markdown PRD designed to be pasted straight into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. A Mom Test question generator is included for founders doing customer interviews, and a free idea generator produces starting points. The first full analysis is free with sign-in and no card.
