Qodex.ai is an agentic QA and security platform that reviews pull requests and runs real tests against a running application, rather than reasoning about the diff alone. The problem it names is specific and current: LLMs multiplied the number of PRs an engineer can open, and review, QA and stale test suites became the bottleneck — the vendor cites roughly 5x longer PR review times under heavy AI adoption, a 3x increase in the incidents-to-PR ratio and 31% more PRs merging with no review at all. Qodex's claim is that it sits on both sides of the gap: it reads the codebase — route tables, auth and role wiring, ORM schema, validation schemas, test entry points — and it also drives the deployed app, recording behaviour per role across real flows. AI code reviewers stop at the first; autonomous pentest tools stop at the second. In practice it generates runnable tests from an API spec, imports existing scenarios from OpenAPI, Postman, spreadsheets and current suites, runs API and UI scenarios on every pull request and deploy, and layers continuous OWASP, BOLA and IDOR security probes on top.
