PromptVault
Edit production LLM prompts live, with versioning and one-click rollback

promptvlt.comAbout PromptVault
PromptVault takes prompts out of your codebase so that changing one stops being a deploy. Prompts live in a hosted vault, your application fetches the current version at request time, and an edit is live in production in under a second — no pull request, no CI wait, no production hotfix. It is deliberately not a gateway: PromptVault stores prompt text and metadata while your own code keeps calling your own LLM client, so it works with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, DeepSeek, Perplexity, Hugging Face, Ollama or a private gateway without introducing a proxy hop or vendor lock-in. Around that sit the operational features a team discovers it needs on the second bad prompt: full version history with one-click diff and revert, a staging-to-live promotion flow that keeps the same prompt id across environments so nothing drifts from copy-paste, a signed webhook on every save so a trace can be tied back to the exact prompt version that produced it, an activity feed recording who changed what and when, and ownership gates so a PM or support lead can edit tone directly while a reviewer controls what reaches live. An AI Evaluator runs a daily structural review and queues suspected regressions rather than waiting for the on-call alert.
