Noir Prompt is a prompt manager for people whose prompts have become an asset rather than a scratchpad. The problem it names is specific and familiar: Midjourney prompts in Notes, ChatGPT prompts in Docs, Runway prompts somewhere else, and the exact recipe that produced a good result lost within a week. It consolidates all of them into one searchable library spanning Midjourney, Runway, Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and anything else, organised into collections with tags, and — the feature that matters most for visual work — version history on every prompt, so an iteration that went wrong can be walked back to the exact wording that worked. Prompts support variables so a template can be reused with different inputs, and export runs to JSON, CSV, Markdown and plain text. A Discover section surfaces prompts from other users. The four audiences the vendor names are worth taking at face value because they shape the feature set: visual AI creators versioning style prompts as intellectual property, Cursor and Claude power users who want the library available mid-flow, solo builders treating it as a second brain, and freelancers and agencies reusing client-specific prompts across engagements. For the second group there is a universal MCP server on the Pro tier that exposes the library directly inside Claude and Cursor, so a prompt can be pulled without leaving the editor.
