NextStep is a process management tool for teams whose SOPs currently live in a document nobody opens. It separates the two halves of the problem — writing a process and running it — and makes the second one the product. You build a step-by-step process from scratch or let AI draft the first version from a description, adding content, inputs and dependencies between steps; you then run that process as many times as you need, with each run tracked separately against smart due dates so it is visible which instance is behind and at which step. Guest participants are unlimited on every tier, which matters for processes that involve clients, contractors or new hires who will never have a seat, and pricing is charged only for the people who create and manage processes. Higher tiers add webhooks and white labelling, so an agency can run client-facing onboarding under its own brand. The vendor publishes a roadmap and help docs publicly and offers a fourteen-day trial without a card. The positioning is deliberately narrow: not a project manager, not a wiki, but the repeatable checklist layer that usually falls between the two. Public help docs and a published roadmap sit alongside the app, and the trial runs for fourteen days without a card being taken at any point.
