About Make This Better
Make This Better is an open-source feedback widget designed so that every user signal lands as something a coding agent can act on directly. A user clicks Feedback in your app, mark-up mode activates, and they click an element, circle it and write a note — and the capture includes a screenshot, a DOM snapshot and console context alongside the text, which is the difference between a vague bug report and something an agent can reproduce. Reports arrive on a board with a lane workflow (Received, In Progress, Pending Release, Closed) and are auto-classified into bug, documentation, feature, improvement, reliability, usability and question. The agent-facing side is what distinguishes it from ordinary feedback tools: there is a CLI, an MCP server and an installable agent skill (`npx skills add makethisbetter/skills`), so an agent in your editor can pull the feedback queue, read the captured context and open the fix without anyone copying a ticket by hand. Deploy notifications close the loop by telling reporters when their issue actually shipped. Projects are unlimited on every plan including free, and public boards can be hosted on a subdomain or, on paid plans, a custom domain with the branding removed. The AI features run on bring-your-own-key on any plan — the vendor does not mark up AI usage, your provider bills you directly — with $5 of credits on signup for people who do not want to supply a key immediately.
