Letro is an AI email designer that writes MJML from a plain-language description, then hands the result to a visual block editor for refinement and exports cross-client HTML to whatever ESP the sender already uses. The choice of MJML as the intermediate format is the substantive design decision and the vendor explains it directly: MJML is an open-source markup language that compiles to HTML which renders correctly in Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail and hundreds of other clients, so a marketer gets inbox-tested output without anyone hand-writing table-based layouts. A developer can drop into the raw MJML editor at any point, while a non-technical user never has to. Output is portable rather than locked in: compiled ESP-ready HTML, the MJML source file for versioning and reuse, or a clipboard copy, all exportable to Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo, Customer.io, Postmark, Resend, SendGrid, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot and Drip. Brand profiles keep colours, fonts and voice consistent across campaigns, with one profile on the free tier and unlimited above it, and a knowledge base on paid tiers feeds product context into generation.
