About Inbox2Action

Inbox2Action is a Chrome extension that turns a Gmail message into a Notion database item in one click, without leaving the inbox. Open an email, press the toolbar icon, and it lands in Notion as a task carrying a status, a due date, smart labels and an assignee, with the fields synced in both directions so the state you set in Notion shows in Gmail and the reverse. The value is not the export — plenty of tools can push an email somewhere — it is that the resulting item is a real database row inside the workspace where the rest of the work already lives, so email stops being a parallel to-do list that never reconciles with the actual one. Relations to other Notion databases are unlimited, comments can be read and added from either side, a pipeline or board view shows the whole inbox as stages rather than a list, and an Inbox Mastery template ships to give the Notion side a working structure on day one. Unlimited workspaces are supported on every tier including free. The timing is deliberate and the vendor says so plainly on the page: Notion Mail shuts down on 22 September 2026 and Notion is not replacing it, so the audience that wanted email to live inside Notion is about to need somewhere to go. Works in all Chromium browsers.
