Guardr is a security and uptime monitor aimed at the people who look after other people's websites — web agencies with twenty client sites, freelancers who get asked whether a site has security problems, and solo developers who would otherwise never run these checks. A scan takes about five seconds, requires no signup and works on any site: it covers SSL certificate state, security headers, DNS, exposed files, secrets leaked into JavaScript bundles and cookie configuration, returning an A–F grade with a plain-English fix for every issue rather than a raw findings dump. Once you sign up it moves from a one-off scan to continuous monitoring, checking 24/7 from three global regions and alerting the moment something changes — an expiring or misconfigured certificate that would otherwise show visitors a full-page browser warning, injected content, or plain downtime. The framing for agencies is commercial rather than technical: it turns 'is my site secure?' from an open-ended rabbit hole into a line item on a retainer with an artefact behind it. The site reports over 10,400 sites scanned. The first site is free forever, which makes it usable as a permanent monitor on a personal project without a card, and there are docs and a blog alongside the product.
