GetXAPI is a third-party read API for X (Twitter) data aimed at developers who found the official pricing tiers unworkable. It exposes 64 endpoints covering tweet and user reads, search, followers, community information and an account status check that reports whether a handle is alive or suspended, and it publishes per-endpoint pricing rather than a single blended rate. The commercial argument is the unit cost: standard reads return roughly twenty tweets per call at $0.001 per call, which the vendor markets as $0.05 per thousand tweets, with no per-endpoint quotas and no fifteen-minute rate windows to manage. Heavier endpoints cost more than a single credit and the multiplier is printed next to each one. There is a hosted MCP server, installable with a single npx command, so an agent in Claude or Cursor can query X data without the developer writing a client. Webhooks are available for monitoring use cases where polling would be wasteful. The vendor publishes a thirty-day uptime figure, a sub-two-second response target and a trust page, and states that data is live rather than cached. Credits can be bought one-time or on a subscription that carries a bonus, and unused subscription credits roll over. Crypto payment attracts an extra credit bonus.
