Figwise generates publication-ready scientific figures for academic papers, combining AI drafting for the open-ended figures with fixed templates for the ones bound by reporting standards. That split is the product's central design decision: a graphical abstract is drafted by AI from an abstract and sized to Elsevier or MDPI presets, while a PRISMA 2020 flow diagram or a CONSORT 2010 diagram is produced from a form that enforces the standard's required boxes and counts rather than being generated freely. The tool set covers graphical abstracts, conceptual framework generators that classify study variables into a labelled diagram, PRISMA flow diagrams, Kaplan-Meier curves, volcano plots built from pasted differential expression data with adjustable thresholds, phylogenetic trees from Newick format or species lists, box plots, Venn diagrams, plot diagrams, KWL charts and Frayer models. Several of the individual generators are free with no signup and export SVG and PNG. Output is vector, sized for journal submission, replacing what the marketing describes as half-days lost in Illustrator or PowerPoint. Published example figures span pharmacology, oncology, RNA-seq, proteomics, genomics, single-cell, public health, psychology, evolution, environment and deep learning, which is a reasonable indication of the disciplines targeted.
