Faraday is an email client built on the argument that the format has not changed in five decades and that most of the daily friction is structural rather than a matter of volume. Its critique is specific and long: notifications weighted toward the least relevant senders, search that returns the same message a dozen times because every reply appends the last, nested blockquotes nobody can read, attachments scattered across the inbox, forwarded threads that are impossible to reconstruct, replies to do-not-reply addresses, and filters that are manual and still unreliable. The product's answer is higher-order classification and intelligent grouping rather than another folder system, contextual awareness of what a message actually is, and a deduplicated view of threads so a conversation reads once rather than as a stack of quoted copies. It connects to Gmail, Google Workspace and Outlook rather than replacing the account, so it is a client rather than a migration, and the vendor states processing is privacy-first with AES-256 encryption and that customer data is never used to train external AI models. Pricing is published separately for global and Indian customers, with lifetime options alongside the subscription and add-on accounts for people running more than one mailbox.
