DocsHound turns a screen recording of your product into documentation, and does it with visual AI that reads the interface rather than only the audio. Record a demo the way you would record a Loom and it extracts screenshots, generates the written steps with UI highlights and callouts, and assembles a self-organising documentation site — then trains a chatbot on the same content automatically. That chatbot comes in three shapes: a support bot that answers and escalates, an in-app copilot, and a sales bot for the homepage. The insight layer is what makes it more than a docs generator: chat history is mined for customer signals, bug reports and feature requests get workflows, and live content and UX recommendations come back from what users actually asked. Editing happens in a Notion-style block editor with voice commands, brand detection, version history and live preview, publishing to a custom domain with SEO structure from day one. A Chrome extension captures recordings, and there are Intercom and Command AI integrations plus a PDF-to-website path. The accessibility and education framing — accessible PDFs and AI for students — is a second market the same engine serves. Docs publish with real SEO structure and in-guide search from day one, and end-user authentication on the higher tier means the same engine can serve internal guides as well as public documentation.
