DevKit is a developer assistant that pairs an LLM chat interface, DevGPT, with more than thirty small developer utilities in a single browser application. The premise is context-switching cost: rather than keeping a REST client, a database GUI, a formatter, a diff tool and a chat window open in separate apps, DevKit puts them behind one surface where the AI can act on them. Four capabilities carry the product. Public API testing generates the request configuration for hundreds of supported public APIs in a click, collapsing a task the vendor describes as taking minutes or hours into seconds. Database querying accepts plain English against a Postgres database, generates the SQL, executes it and plots the results, with MySQL and SQL Server listed as planned. Code generation and execution happen inside the chat interface across a wide language set, so a feature can be built and tested in isolation before being carried into a real codebase. A creative-coding path uses p5.js generation for interactive art and small games, with screenshot and recording capture for sharing. The mini-tools layer adds seven editors and ten-plus utilities for testing snippets, writing docs and transforming data, plus a full API client and database client. The vendor reports crossing 50,000 users, 65,000+ developers having used the product, a DevKit 3.0 release, and a top-three DevTool placement in its launch week.
