CSS Studio, from the team behind the Motion animation library, is a visual design tool that hands the actual code edits to whichever AI coding agent you already use. You select an element in a live local preview, then either describe the change in natural language or adjust it with a conventional design-tool interface — sliders and inputs for layout, spacing, typography, color, gradients, and radius — and your agent applies the result directly into your source. Because the agent writes the code, it works across whatever stack you have: HTML, CSS, Tailwind, Markdown, React, or something else entirely, with edits landing in the right files rather than in a generated export. The animation editor is the strongest piece: a real timeline with keyframes, physics-driven springs, and scroll-linked animations, all compiled down to hardware-accelerated CSS rather than a runtime JavaScript dependency. A variants feature generates several alternative directions for a selected element from one prompt, each grounded in your existing design system, so you can iterate on a favorite or commit the winner and discard the rest. A one-click mobile adaptation reflows an area for small screens. It connects over MCP and works with any MCP- and Skills-capable agent — Cursor, Claude Code, and VS Code are the tested paths.
