About Chronary

Chronary is calendar infrastructure built for AI agents rather than for people, which sounds like a narrow distinction until you look at what it changes. Agents need to create calendars, write events, and — the harder part — query availability across several agents at once to find a slot where all of them are free. Chronary exposes that as a REST API and an MCP server: one call creates an event on an agent's calendar and fires the iCal feed update and webhook fan-out; another takes a duration and a list of agent IDs and returns the open windows. It also bridges to the human side, syncing with Google and Microsoft calendars so an agent's schedule and a person's schedule are the same schedule, with optional publishing of agent events into human calendar apps and booking pages for inbound scheduling. The API surface includes scheduling proposals and temporal holds — the primitive an agent needs when it wants to reserve a slot while it negotiates rather than commit immediately — plus recurring event rules, per-agent API keys, audit logs and webhook retries. An official TypeScript SDK and Python examples ship alongside the raw HTTP interface. The product is in early access at time of writing, with the Pro tier free until general availability.
