Chat4Data is a Chrome extension that scrapes web data through conversation rather than through selectors. You describe the fields you want in plain English, and the extension explores the page, extracts them, works through pagination and required clicks, and returns Excel, CSV or JSON. What separates it from selector-based scrapers is how it reads a page: it uses both the rendered appearance and the underlying markup, so when a site changes its layout or its class names the extraction usually survives instead of silently returning empty columns. It handles list pages and drills into subpages, and captures data types that simple text scrapers miss — images, links, emails, phone numbers and hidden elements. The design is explicitly human-in-the-loop: when it hits a login, a CAPTCHA or a verification step it pauses and hands control back to you, then resumes where it left off, which is a more honest posture than tools that claim to defeat those flows. Scrapers created through chat are saved and reusable from history, and the count of scrapers you can create is unlimited even on the free plan. Metering is by credits consumed on chat interactions, data analysis and key scraping actions, plus a data-retention window that scales by tier — 15 days free, 90 days paid. The free tier is genuinely usable for evaluation: unlimited scraper creation, list and subpage scraping, and CSV/XLSX/JSON export with 300 welcome credits, no card. Paid tiers add credit allowances, access to more capable models, concurrent subpage scraping and priority queueing during high traffic.
