BoltStack is a Next.js SaaS boilerplate paired with a component library and a visual page builder. The stack is the current mainstream one — Next.js with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui for the front end, NextAuth for authentication, Drizzle ORM against Neon for the database, Upstash Redis for rate limiting, Sanity as the CMS behind an SEO blog system, PayPal for subscriptions, and Resend plus Mailchimp for transactional and marketing mail. What differentiates it from the pile of boilerplates is that the free tier is genuinely usable: basic NextAuth social logins, a basic Drizzle plus Neon setup, a landing page and a limited set of reusable components are available without paying, so you can evaluate the code rather than the marketing site. The paid tier unlocks the full component library, complete animated landing pages, all templates, the full auth flow including reset and forgot-password, more complex database relations, the PayPal webhook lifecycle, the Sanity blog system, Google Analytics wiring, advanced sitemaps and robots configuration, and the Mailchimp/Resend automation. Alongside the boilerplate the site ships an interactive page builder for composing layouts from the component set, a background pattern generator, curated shadcn/ui colour themes with copy-to-clipboard, and a showcase of projects built on it. It is sold once with lifetime updates rather than as a subscription.
