BacklinkGPT runs link-building outreach as a supervised agent rather than generating links automatically, and is explicit that it is not a backlink generator. Given a domain, the agent reads the site, picks target pages, seeds keywords, scans SERPs and competitor backlink profiles, and then judges every prospect it finds. The judgement step is the product's distinguishing behaviour: each page gets a written verdict of keep, drop or second look with the reason attached — a gear roundup that accepts guest contributions is kept, a zero-editorial-value link directory is dropped, a direct competitor is blocked from outreach, an expired-domain spam site is rejected by name — so the operator reviews a shortlist rather than a scored list. In the published example the agent scanned 151 pages, kept 14 and located the person behind 9 of them. Contact discovery then finds the editor, founder or writer behind a kept page with email and LinkedIn, ranking multiple contacts for a given pitch. The agent drafts personalised messages, sends from a connected email inbox or LinkedIn profile, and follows up until it gets an answer, with the operator approving what goes out in a few minutes a week. The vendor sets a realistic expectation on the marketing page — first prospects and drafts in minutes, first links usually in weeks three to six — which is more restrained than the category norm.
