ASSIST is an AI OCR and document-management platform built specifically around Southeast Asian e-invoicing compliance, which is what separates it from the generic receipt-scanning category. It captures data from invoices, receipts and other business records and turns them into structured, reportable data — but the surrounding product is shaped by two national mandates: Malaysia's LHDN MyInvois and Singapore's IRAS InvoiceNow. Submission to those systems is part of the product rather than an integration you build yourself. Three modules sit on top of the extraction engine: Smart Documents for capture and retention, Smart Claims for employee expense claims with an approval matrix, and Smart Invoice for issuing and submitting compliant e-invoices. Extracted records sync to Xero and QuickBooks, and workflow and matching logic can be customised, with custom logic and API available on the enterprise tier. Invoice retention is seven years on every paid plan, which is the statutory window these businesses are actually buying against. Pricing is metered in OCR pages rather than seats or documents, and the vendor is unusually explicit that all plans include full feature access with no hidden tiers or locked tools — the ladder buys volume. Every new account starts on a 14-day Premium trial with 30 OCR pages included and no commitment, and Singapore customers may be eligible for up to 80% PSG funding.
