About Arvo

Arvo is an AI training coach aimed at intermediate and advanced gym lifters rather than at the general fitness market, and the difference shows in what it actually tracks. Most workout apps are logbooks that charge you to record your own sets. Arvo makes a decision on every set: what weight to use next, whether an exercise swap is biomechanically equivalent, and whether your accumulated volume suggests you are overtraining. It implements named bodybuilding methodologies with stated fidelity — the Kuba Method, Mentzer HIT, FST-7, Y3T and Mountain Dog — and tracks volume against MEV, MAV and MRV landmarks across a mesocycle rather than treating each session in isolation. Progression is RIR/RPE-aware, and the exercise library runs past 1,300 movements. The product describes its architecture as roughly twenty specialized agents that each analyse a slice of performance in real time, running on GPT-5 reasoning models. There are two operating modes: Simple Mode, where the AI selects exercises and weights and the lifter just shows up, and Pro Mode, with full RIR/RPE control, methodology selection and volume management. A separate Coach tier turns it into a client-management tool for personal trainers, with a client dashboard, assignable methodologies and per-client analytics. The free plan is permanent and includes set-by-set progression.
