Arialine is the Mermaid diagram and AI diagram generator built into Slack. Teams design systems, plan launches and run incidents in Slack threads, but the diagrams live in Miro, Lucidchart, draw.io or a forgotten Mermaid Live Editor tab, fall out of date, and nobody remembers why an arrow is there. Arialine keeps the diagram where the conversation lives. Slack doesn't render Mermaid code blocks on its own; Arialine does. How it works: Paste Mermaid or describe a system in plain language, and the diagram lands in the channel as a PNG and an interactive HTML file. Edit it by replying in the thread; every change becomes a version linked to the Slack message behind it. Ask why an element exists and Arialine cites the decision, author, date and message. Render Mermaid in Slack: Type /arialine followed by your Mermaid code. Valid code renders exactly as written, with no AI and no quota. You can also mention @Arialine with a Mermaid code block, share a .mmd file, or use the Render as diagram shortcut. The source is kept, so the diagram stays editable instead of being a one-off preview image.
