AltTextLab is an AI alt-text generator built around two pricing decisions that shape the whole product. First, there are no per-site fees — one account covers any number of domains on every plan including the free one, which matters enormously for agencies and anyone running a portfolio of sites, since the alternative is paying a licence per property. Second, credits roll over and never expire, so a site that does one large historical backfill and then adds a handful of images a month is not paying for a monthly allowance it wastes. Beyond that it does the expected work well: descriptions in over 130 languages, bulk processing that can chew through an entire existing media library in one pass, and custom SEO keywords — you supply a target keyword list and it weaves them into generated descriptions where they are contextually appropriate rather than stuffing them everywhere. There is a dedicated e-commerce mode and a set of selectable AI writing styles. Integrations cover WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, Webflow and Craft CMS as one-click plugins, a Chrome extension for generating alt text on any website from the browser, a Web Snippet that adds alt text site-wide from a single line of code with no CMS plugin required, and a developer API for anything not covered. There is also an affiliate program.
