Alai is an AI presentation tool built around a workflow difference that is easy to miss and matters a lot in practice: rather than generating one deck and leaving you to fight its layout, it generates multiple layout options for each individual slide and lets you choose per slide. That converts the usual failure mode of AI deck builders — a plausible-looking deck that is wrong in ways that are tedious to fix — into a series of small, cheap decisions. The scope has grown past slides to cover social posts and infographics, all held to a brand through on-brand design rather than generic templates. Practical constraints are stated plainly rather than buried: the number of AI slides producible per prompt scales with plan, from ten on free up to fifty, and the number of presentations is unlimited on every tier including free. Watermarks are the free-tier limitation, removed on every paid plan. Export is to PDF and PPT throughout, which keeps the output portable into whatever the client actually opens it in. Support is a deliberate differentiator at the higher tiers — Discord and email on Plus, direct founder support on Pro, and direct feature requests to the founders on Ultra.
