Presenton is an open-source AI presentation generator that can be self-hosted with a single Docker command or used through a managed cloud, and that exposes the same engine as a developer API. Its central idea is that the design system should come from you, not from the tool: you upload an existing PPTX or PDF, and an AI template converter turns it into a reusable template that preserves colors, typography, spacing, and layout, so generated decks stay on brand instead of looking like generic slideware. From there you can generate a complete deck end to end — structure, storyline, layout, and content — and the slides inherit that template while adapting to the narrative. Editing goes beyond regenerate-the-whole-thing: slide variants, precise element selection, and targeted regeneration let you change one block without disturbing the rest. Output exports to both PPTX and PDF, and the PPTX stays fully editable in PowerPoint and Google Slides. Charts, tables, and images are supported when they are specified during template creation. For developers, the API generates and updates decks from your own data, which is how teams wire it into recurring reporting workflows; the documented use cases include weekly compliance-bound client reports in financial services and white-label deck generation embedded inside another SaaS product. Because it can run entirely offline against Ollama, or against your chosen LLM and image providers, it also fits air-gapped and privacy-constrained deployments. The vendor states customer data is not used to train models.
