AgentOne is a general-purpose AI agent that positions itself against two things at once: chatbots, which it argues are too simple because they only talk, and single-purpose AI tools, which it argues are too narrow because each solves one task. Its answer is breadth of connection. The product ships with what it calls extensions — integrations into roughly 19,000 apps, services and websites, from Gmail and Reddit to Spotify, YouTube and Discord — and once an account is linked the agent acts inside those apps on the user's behalf. The intended behaviour is autonomous rather than conversational: you state an outcome, and the agent chains however many steps that outcome requires without asking for confirmation at each one. The examples the vendor leads with are inbox management, expense handling and multi-step research, all of which involve reading from one connected service and writing to another. It also runs as a deep researcher, pulling sources and assembling a report. A detail that matters for developers evaluating the cost: AgentOne supports bring-your-own-key for OpenAI-compatible providers, OpenRouter, Groq, Google, Ollama and LM Studio, so inference can be pointed at a provider you already pay for or at a local model, rather than being locked to the vendor's own credit meter.
